Work with Michel Klein (French designer)
In collaboration with Bridget Yorke, designer of two collections for Yorke & Cole.
Marc Ascolis assistant for artistic direction for Yohji Yamamoto, Martine Sitbon and Chlo.
1989
Creates a small jewelry and accessories collection named after her own name.
Makes accessories and jewelry for Claude Montana, Michel Perry and Yorke & Cole.
1990
Creates the brand Twen, small line of knits and jersey pieces.
1994
Twen becomes Isabel Marant.
First fashion show for summer 1995.
August 1997
Moves into large offices in Paris 11me which reflect her style.
December 1997
Winner of the Award de la Mode of the year.
January 1998
Whirlpool award, Femme en Or in fashion category.
First Isabel Marant collection for La Redoute, biggest French catalog sale.
Launch of a second line in Japan, called I*M.
