The style Council outlook for Women's Fall / Winter 2007-08 includes four main themes: Provocatuer, Renegade, Heritage, Wild Side.
InfoMat
PROVOCATUER

- Glam rock
- Silks, brocade, decorative
- Monochromatic palettes
- Gothic flourishes
- Lustrous and extravagant
- Dark and poetic

Part sinister, part nonchalant; rock and roll wild boys lounge in lustrous silks and brocades. Extravagant, yet still maintaining a street edge, their poetic spirit shines through. Pair graphic tees with skinny pants or denim and shrunken velvet or quilted silk jackets. Re-invent the classic white shirt with gothic flourishes-scrolls and birds printed in deep monochromatic palettes. Use embroidery for tonal texture or high shine drama.
Colors: A monochromatic palette contrasts with garish reds, orange, peacock blue and deep purples.

RENEGADE

- Disheveled and patched
- Patina effects
- Antique brass & gold
- Strong graphic statements
- Personalized camouflage
- Military styling

Mutinous characters in uniform from olive drab to navy blues. The style and cut that reflects life in the military is personalized and re-invented. Slightly disheveled and coming apart at the seams. Jackets are patched with plaids and denim. Stencils and graphics have an authentic "worn in the field" patina and ornate gold and brass details add an antique quality. Camouflage is ever present, individualized with hand painted effects and overprinted on tweeds and geometrics.
Colors: A traditional palette of olive, earth tones and navy blues with accents of gunmetal grays, brass, gold and a flash of parade red.

HERITAGE

- Flannel, herring bone and checks
- Patches and crests
- British establishment
- Youthful denims
- Old school tie
- Well loved and worn

Wear the old school tie with the effortless style of a man of the people. The formal elegance of the British establishment combines traditional herring bones, flannel and checks with youthful denim and corduroy. Wear and repair well loved items and use boarding school detailing-for extra preppie style. Delve into history for heraldic crests and motifs.
Colors: Traditional tones of the country estate updated with denim blue, cranberry and limestone.

WILD SIDE

- Grizzly Adams
- Trees and birds
- Distressed patched
- Nature graphics
- Plaids blankets
- Over dyed

The great outdoors, at one with nature. Leisure time or working, camping hiking or lumberjack, the look is straight from the back pack, crumpled and worn. Graphics take inspiration from nature and wildlife. Overprinting, dyeing and distressing create effects of long lived in and loved garments. Patterns are traditional, Hudson Bay blankets, plaids and ancestral motifs.
Colors: Colors are lifted directly from the landscape leafy greens, bark, ochre's, berry reds and smoky neutrals.

Insight. Innovation. Authority. In 1982, TSC's founders harnessed more than 10 years of industry insight working for the top designers in New York and Paris, and an intimate knowledge of Asia, to realize their vision-a superior one-stop studio that combined the manufacturing, design, and merchandising processes under one roof. Armed with an intimate understanding of their clients needs, TSC hired the best creative and tech design team in the industry and an innovative new studio was born. Next, TSC enlisted a seasoned sales team with first hand knowledge of the industry, as well as relationships with the top retailers, designers, merchandisers and manufactures here and abroad. And while TSC's objective never changed, our clients' challenges of competing in a global market did. To meet those needs, TSC invested in the smartest technologies and expanded its basic concept to include a total design facility, capable of taking projects from concept to completion. With a focus on employee stability and an ability to move steps ahead of the trends, TSC is now the country's leading design and service studio. What we design and how it is manufactured today is different from what we made last season, last year, twenty years ago. But the essence of TSC hasn't changed; we continue to be creatively driven and technically innovative, with a fashion forward insight on knowing what our customers need.
