The season is under the influence of two very strong and complementary currents. On the one hand, shifted effects, vintage and makeshift styles are receding in favor of bold, challenging texture, design, color and construction in two forward-looking orientations: ENGINEERED (homage to artful engineering) and MAJESTY (majestic color). At the same time, in the increasingly refined hedonist vein, everyday softness continues to be an essential pivot of our lifestyles: bio-cosy comfort anchored in our peasant collective unconscious (EARTH) or tiny bizarrely sophisticated delights (MINIATURE).

MAJESTY - In the name of color
Since the dawn of time, color has been a sign of power, optimism, energy ... and for years we have artfully hidden, rerouted, diluted, camouflaged it ...Symptomatic of profound mutations, of an awakening, of a positivist redefinition of our codes and references, it resurges, empowered again, in the full richness of its original intensity.

MAJESTY FABRICS - Sublime the basics
Between high tech and couture, silks and performance fabrics are hybridized, a magic flash of color is applied to the most standard textiles.

One color show
Gabardines, broadcloths and velvets are sublimed by a single color: a radical choice that energizes the basics and infuses them with the dazzle of silky fabrics.

Ornamental
Adorn with ornate guipure, brocades, damasks and giant arabesques. Enlarge the patterns, emphasize graphic contrasts. Add splendor to the everyday!

MINIATURE - Oddly appealing
After the hype surrounding girly glitter charm and celebrity vamp beauty icons that have lost their dream appeal, the imagination reverts to the delightful and charming realm of the miniature. A forgotten little world of touchingly weird curios, so impalpably fresh and oddly precious.

MINIATURE FABRICS - Soft glamour
Glamour shifts: it is freer and more precious, smoother and more innocent.

Plump : soft, bouncy, cushionyÉ knits and weaves are felted, bleached, compressed, ultra light, they are designed to envelop, cover, protect.

Rococo decors : a follow up of previous seasons' passeist orientation, wallpaper patterns and 18th-century calicos are given a novel and striking twist through plays with proportions and unusual finishing.

ENGINEERED - A tribute to human creativity
A cult product, like the first "engineered" jeans perfectly illustrates the industrial era passage from functional object to designed object. It symbolizes contemporary research, the uncelebrated work of engineers and designers of products that are increasingly elaborate and bold, at times even "concept" products (as in the automobile industry). Beyond their purely practical features, they challenge technical engineering to create the new industrial aesthetic.

ENGINEERED FABRICS - Re-think the classics
The key orientation of Engineered is to recreate, redesign, reroute dependable everyday basics.

Chic cottons: treat cottons like suiting: keep their functional comfort and sophisticate them in precious blends with silk or cashmere.

Easy wool: update classic, combed or carded wool by treating it like cotton. Washed, crinkled, twisted, wool becomes finer, suppler and more fluid, and even futuristic with novel smart functions (dust repellent, anti-odorÉ).

Vibrations: moires, striations, pointillismÉ Scramble all textures and grounds: velvet, wool, ottomanÉ reinvent urban camouflage.

EARTH - Simple life dream
Anchored in our memories, an ineradicable country folk foundation, a yearning for basic simplicity and reassuring authenticity that our increasingly urban and global cultures idealize, cherish like a lost paradise.

EARTH FABRICS - Creative nature
Pick up on the folkloric current which inspires plains and patterns and parallels the organic/bio quest for new natural resources.

Rustics
Not so rustic cotton jacquards and woolly textures: to weave in greige, soften, dye with natural pigments, texture with slub yarns.

Peasant checks
Handkerchief, lumberjack, blanketÉ checks are rerouted from their original grounds and applied to cosy flannel-like biotech silks (fibers made from maize) and organic cottons.

COLOR ORIENTATION

Bold color!

Golden yellows, intense violets, deep blues, opulent reds and greensÉ enhance the basics with sumptuous flashiness. Be bold in single or graphic two-tonal styles.
